FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS.
BORN FROM A PERSONAL FIGHT.
Pro Health Place did not start with a business plan. It started with a crisis.
After the birth of their third child, Brynn suffered from postpartum preeclampsia. She endured ongoing symptoms, medication complications, and a devastating lack of real answers. She was told she would likely never safely carry another child — that her heart could not withstand another pregnancy — and that she would need blood pressure medication for life.
Josh was serving as a firefighter EMT at the time. Despite his medical training, he felt powerless watching the woman he loved struggle without solutions.
That moment changed everything.
It ignited a commitment to never again feel helpless when it came to the health of his family — or the families he would one day serve.
THEIR FAMILY IS LIVING PROOF OF WHAT IS POSSIBLE.
Driven by purpose, Josh returned to school. He completed a bachelor's degree, two master's degrees, and two doctoral degrees in Health & Safety Sciences and Health Education. He became a Nationally Registered Paramedic and a Board-Certified Doctor of Functional Medicine — all while building a practice committed to the question most doctors never ask: why?
Their story is more than testimony. It is purpose. And that purpose now fuels everything they do at Pro Health Place.
"Today, Brynn is no longer on medication. She is thriving. And together, they welcomed their fourth child into the world through a peaceful home birth — where Dr. Himes delivered their baby himself."
THE HANDSOME HITMAN TURNED HEALER.
Josh "The Handsome Hitman" Himes began boxing at 19, making history as the fastest boxer in Pennsylvania to win an Open Division Golden Gloves title before competing in Olympic qualifying tournaments. He brought that same discipline into medicine, earning two doctoral degrees and Board certification in Functional Medicine. Today, he applies a fighter's mentality to every client protocol he builds, working to uncover root causes and restore long-term health.
Rather than chase more titles, Josh made the intentional decision to hang up his gloves and redirect that same fighter's mentality toward a new arena. Fighting for the health and longevity of every client he serves.
COUNTRY STAGES
TO CORNERSTONES
OF CARE.
Before Pro Health Place, Brynn Marie Himes was performing on some of the biggest stages in country music. She grew up in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania, moved to Nashville to chase a dream, and made it — recording her EP Things Change, releasing her debut single on CMT, and touring as an opening act for Pat Benatar, Cheap Trick, Heart, Loretta Lynn, and REO Speedwagon.
She headlined Armed Forces tours throughout the Middle East — performing for U.S. troops in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Dubai, and Djibouti — and sang the National Anthem for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Nashville Predators, and more.
I made my debut at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville — the Mother Church of Country Music — as an opener for Pat Benatar. I even joined them on stage to sing harmonies on 'We Belong.' The standing ovation at the Ryman is a moment I will never forget.
Today, Brynn channels that same authenticity and heart into Pro Health Place — leading marketing, networking, and business development behind the scenes while making every client feel like family. She homeschools their four children and is building a homestead in Cottageville, South Carolina — baking bread, tending the land, and living the intentional life she and Josh built from the ground up.
